Harte Technologies develops custom hardware solutions based upon your requirements.  I will develop a comprehensive architecture specification to address your performance goals and feature requirements.   If you have an existing architecture specification, I can work with it and add new features and optimize performance.  My balanced approach to hardware design and software engineering allows me to propose an architecture that is both cost-effective to implement, and intuitive to program. 

After the architecture specification is complete, I can implement the design, including schematic capture, board layout, and assistance with production through a board house.  I have a relationship with a great local board house that provides prototypes from my artwork within 24 hours to three days depending on board complexity.  When prototype boards come in, I debug the design and bring the boards up.  I develop custom diagnostic software to exercise all aspects of the hardware design.  If you have your own software engineers, I will work closely with them to ensure that the hardware is fully functional.

I have extensive experience writing low-level driver software as well as custom embedded firmware.  I am able to isolate software and hardware anomalies quickly, and provide a solution for them using the optimal combination of hardware and software revision.   This reduces time-to-market, and provides a more reliable end product.
